Lucky Star Farms has a very limited number of heritage breed turkeys available for the holidays.  We raised Bourbon Red, Naragansett and Blue Slate turkeys this year.  Pastured and fed with locally grown organic grain.  Heritage Breed turkeys raised on pasture are moist, tender and with amazing flavor and cannot be compared with the grocery store variety of hybrid turkey.  Check out what Local Harvest has to say about them:  http://www.localharvest.org/features/heritage-turkeys.jsp?r=pe  Birds are frozen and will weigh between 9-15lbs.  They are $5.99/lb with delivery to a local drop point included.  Deliveries are available in Kansas City and Wichita.  Other locations may be added if there is interest in your community.  Home delivery is available in these locations for a fee.  Just one taste of these birds and you may never be satisfied with commercial breed turkeys again.  Give us a call 620-583-6776 or email luckystarfarm@gmail.com.  (just click CONTACT US….to your right)
